made up of 26 unique hollow glass beads, this necklace has a nice weight but isn’t too heavy. slightly more angular, some of the beads have been given a light etching to highlight the angles and the opacity of ice. the flameworked clear glass allows you to see the structure of the necklace and the pieces suspended within. strung on a silver chain with bits of copper, brass and unspun flax fibre gives this handmade necklace structure as well as an organic feel.
the (frozen) For A Time collection is inspired by the fleeting beauty of the soon to melt frozen puddles with their leaves, sticks and seeds suspended under the ices surface - frozen, only for a time.
