nacreous - a new-to-me word that i am falling for. this pale coral-pink-grey-cream earring stud has so many hints of colour that remind me of sunset beach walks & the inside of sea shells.
the hot glass is pressed into a uniquely hand-carved mold for the shape.
the flameworked glass is heated & formed directly on the stainless steel ear post before being annealed in a kiln.
