the ridged dish is a small glass catch-all with softly ridged sides built up with layers of glass. 

inspired by bright pink echinacea with their spiky centres. the glass for the petals was custom chosen & heated. once molten, it is pulled into a long cane before each individual petal is worked in the flame.

once cooled, the pieces are assembled in the kiln to be fused & slumped into shape.

teal & green transparent: approx. 14.5cm x 6cm, 8mm high

pale peach opaque: approx. 10cm x 7.5cm, 8mm high
