We use many words to describe making art out of products that were not purchased new, but still more of us should be doing it. I give a few simple guidelines to kick your creative reuse practice into gear.
Acting as a note to self to find inspiration in our own gratitudes, this is a little post, from a little blog, with a big thanks to all those artists, writers, friends and family who inspire us to be thankful.
I believe that the act of sketching is freeing. There is nothing on the line. There is space and that space often leads to creating problems, problems that are worth solving.
Chickens are full of personality; a life with them can be unpredictable & inspiring but don't be surprised when your plans for the day go up in a puff of cluck and feathers.
The act of creating is important, but can often be stifled by fear. Enter, the mood board. I like to think of my mood boards as a carefully curated bunch of stuff that helps to focus my mind and inspire my creativity.
